Red dragon fruit (Hylocereus Polyrhizus) grows along trellis or fence
lines in Central America. The outside of the fruit is a fushia color
with graceful flowering palms surrounding the bulb. The inside of the
red dragon fruit is similar in color to its exterior and dotted with
small black seeds. The red dragon fruit with red interior is commonly
used to make sorbets and jams and to flavor syrups.
